While the industry is suspecting about Lakshmi Rai’s closeness to Dhoni getting her offers in Bollywood, the actress is fuming about how the media has been harassing her. “For over a year now, I’ve been responding to queries about my relationship with Dhoni. Let me clarify that there’s nothing going on between us. But the media never trusted me.

They said I was in New Zealand during the cricket match there and was hanging out with Dhoni while I was shooting in Chennai only for a Tamil film,” explains the actress, adding that she has no romantic link ups with the star cricketer.

‘I wonder why they choose to link me up with Dhoni alone while I’m also close to cricketers Irfan Pathan and Raina. I guess it is because Dhoni is the most famous of them all,” then explains the actress.
